The MQM Coordination Committee strongly condemned the brutal murder of a man by armed bandits when he tried to stop them from harassing his sister.

It said the cruel murder of Shahzaib near the Country Club within the remit of Darakhshan police station was the outcome of the feudal mindset. It said that Shahzaib was murdered when he tried to stop some people from molesting his sister and this incident has jolted the people, particularly the younger generation. It appealed to the human rights organisations to raise their voice against this brutal killing.

Sympathising with the bereaved family, the Co-ordination Committee demanded from President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of this callous murder and bring the perpetrators to justice.
