President Make-A-Wish (MAW) Foundation Int’l Jon Stettner arrived in Pakistan on a three day tour. During his visit, he went to the Make-A-Wish Pakistan office in Karachi to see the activities of the foundation. He also met with the Make-A-Wish Pakistan Board members, staff and senior volunteers.

 

Stettner also met the deputy managing director PIA at the PIA Head Office and presented him a Certificate of Corporate Award on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Int’l and invited him to participate in the Make-A-Wish Int’l Wish Leader Conference to be held in Brazil from 31st October to 3rd November.

 

On this occasion, Stettner participated in the wish granting of the ailing child Adnan Sadiq who wished to be a pilot. Before his departure Stettner visited Shri Rat Mahadev Temple in Clifton where the wish of the ailing child Prem Gurian who belongs to the interior Sindh and is suffering from cancer who wished to pray in the temple in Clifton.

 

President MAW Pakistan Ishtiaq Baig hosted a dinner reception in honour of Stettner at his residence, attended by MAW Pakistan board members, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khuhro and a large number of prominent personalities.
