Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah appreciated the role of Senior Adviser to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik with regard to law and order in Sindh, particularly in Karachi.

 

Shah expressed these views while talking to Malik who called on him at the CM House on Monday. Senator Islamuddinn Shaikh was also present on the occasion. The chief minister said Malik’s support for maintaining peace in Karachi was always commendable.

 

He congratulated Malik on his re-election as senator unopposed and termed it the success of the Pakistan People’s Party as well as of its programme and policies. He appreciated all the parties in the Sindh Assembly for cooperating in the re-election of Malik as senator.

 

Malik said pledged that he would devote his life to following the political line and programme of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
