Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Muhammad Hussain Mahenti, expressing concern over the killing of Muslims in Myanmar, has demanded the of United Nations Organisation (UN) and the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to play their role for the cessation of the ongoing killing wave.

 

He said he had dispatched letters to the UN, the OIC, ambassadors, diplomats and government executives wherein he had expressed concerns over the ongoing massacre of the Muslim minority of Burma by the Buddhist extremists and Burmese armed forces under the aegis of the Burmese military dictatorship.
