The president of the Awami National Party’s (ANP) Sindh chapter, Senator Shahi Syed, on Monday condemned the killing of a former ward president of the nationalist party.

Naseeb Khan, ex-president of D’ Silva, North Nazimabad, Block-Q, who was also a member of the Pakhtun Action Committee, was gunned down on Monday afternoon.

Syed demanded of the inspector general of police (Sindh), the director general of Rangers and the chief minister Sindh to arrest the culprits involved in the murder.

“Assailants have once again started target killings of ANP activists,” he deplored, adding that the nationalist party had reservations over the safety of its leaders and workers. “We have informed our party’s head in this regard.”
