PIEDMC lauds ministers for industrialisation

LAHORE: Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) Chairman SM Tanveer has appreciated the all-out cooperation of federal and provincial ministers towards rapid industrialisation in Punjab.
He said the government functionaries are making their best efforts in boosting the PIEDMC's initiatives for developing and managing the industrial estates throughout the province.
"The government ministers are focused on rapid industrialisation of their respective areas to create jobs, alleviate poverty and eradicate terrorism," he said.
PIEDMC, under the able leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, is enjoying full cooperation of the federal and provincial ministers for its projects.
"Minister of State for Interior Baligh-ur-Rehman in Bahawalpur, Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Pir Muhammad Amin Ul Hasnat Shah, MNA Ms. Tehmina Daultana in Vehari, and Punjab Minister for Industries Ch Shafique Ahmed in Rahim Yar Khan are continuously endeavouring to achieve government's objective for rapid industrialisation," he said.
Tanveer said PIEDMC Chief Executive Officer Naveed Mushtaq Gill has visited the chambers of commerce and industry in all areas of industrial estates duly assisted by the respective ministers to motivate the potentially serious investors for investment in the industrial estates.
All these ministers have been advocating the PIEDMC initiatives to convince the industrialists for availing of the opportunity of investment at their doorsteps like other city investors take advantage of the same.
"PIEDMC CEO has signed memorandums of understanding with the chambers of commerce and industry in Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari, Bhalwal, Gujrat and Bahawalpur for industrialisation in their areas," he said.
The PIEDMC chairman expressed the hope that the constant cooperation from the government would bring positive results of PIEDMC efforts and the province of Punjab would become the hub of industrial activities under the visionary leadership of Shahbaz Sharif.
