Forex reserves rise to $19.828bln

KARACHI: Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves increased to $19.828 billion during the week ended November 20 from $19.713 billion in the previous week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Thursday.
The forex reserves held by the central bank showed an increase of $88 million to stand at $14.677 billion against $14.589 billion a week ago.
The foreign exchange reserves of commercial banks inched up to $5.151 billion from $5.124 billion during the preceding week.
