Demo against THQ hospital doctors From Our Correspondent BHAKKAR: Residents of Darya Khan locality Thursday staged a protest demonstration against inappropriate behaviour of the MS and doctors of THQ hospital. The protesters said the THQ also lacks medicines. The staff of the hospital also snatched the camera of a journalist who was covering the protest. Later, Assistant Commissioner of Darya Khan Rana Sajid reached the spot and held talks with the protesters and constituted a 7-member committee to probe the matter. AGENTS’ INVOLVEMENT IN PS: Entry of agents and middlemen in police stations was restricted. According to DPO Iftikharul Haq, the prime responsibility of the police is to protect lives and properties of the people. He said criminals should be caught and punished. The DPO asked the police not to harass the innocent people. The DPO called for strict security at police stations.
