Security guard stabbed to death

JARANWALA: A security guard was killed by unidentified people at a petrol pump at Chak Ghaseetpura in Balochni police limits on Sunday night.
Mian Muhammad Qasim of Chak 92 was on duty at a petrol pump when unidentified people came there and stabbed him to death. Police have shifted the body to the Civil Hospital for autopsy and started investigation.
OBITUARY: The wife of senior journalist Malik Muhammad Younis died here on Monday.
Her funeral prayer was offered at Markazi Janazgah. Later, she was laid to rest in a local graveyard. Meanwhile, the Jaranwala Union of Journalists organised a condolence reference which was chaired by Muhammad Ijaz Butt. The participants of the meeting offered Fateha for the departed soul.
