Private schools survey in Lahore after Eid

LAHORE: In order to have accurate data about private schools in the provincial metropolis, including their exact number and status vis-à-vis registration etc, the office of EDO Education will start a survey of schools after Eid holidays. During the survey, information vis-à-vis fee structure of private schools, provision of facilities and information related to registration and affiliation would also be collected by the DO (Elementary), Deputy DOs and AEOs etc. Earlier, the task was handled only by the DO (Private Schools). EDO Education Pervaiz Akhtar said the entire field staff had been involved in the exercise to collect accurate information. He added the staff had been given a month’s time to complete the task.
