Gang selling fake govt job orders smashed

NAWABSHAH: The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) arrested on Saturday a gang leader and his four accomplices on the charge of selling fake job orders for different posts of government departments against heavy payments.
In-charge CIA Mubeen Parhiar said group leader Sajid Dahri was arrested from the Mehran Colony of Nawabshah. Other group members include Office Superintendent (OS), District Office Elementary Mirpurkhas, Bachoo Mal Mengwar; OS DO Office Elementary, Hyderabad, Muhammad Usman Khokhar; Clerk Shah Inayat School, Bilawal Zardari; Baildar Irrigation Department Sakrand, Mir Hasan and others.
Mubeen Parhiar said main accused Saif Dahri admitted that he had been selling fake job orders of employment in different government departments. He informed that high profile personalities of the Sindh government and officials were involved in the racket.
The accused said the price for the post of Taluka Municipal Officer (TMO) was Rs2.5 million; ASI Rs1.4 million; Sub Registrar Rs2.5 million; Junior School Teachers (JST) Rs1 million while the order for appointment as Primary School Teachers was sold for Rs0.5 million.
He said many of the recipients of fake job orders are now holding high posts. Mubeen Parhiar said some of the accused had been arrested while hunt was mounted for arresting other group members. Senior Superintendent of Police Javed Jaskani said more startling revelations are expected.
