PAKPATTAN: A man shot at and injured his wife over a domestic issue on Wednesday.
Muhammad Javed visited the house of his in-laws and asked his wife Naseem Bibi to come with him. She refused and in a fit of rage he shot at and injured her critically.
2 HURT IN MATRIMONIAL ISSUE: Two women suffered bullet injuries in a matrimonial issue on Wednesday.
Babar wanted to marry Tahira, daughter of Muhammad Ashiq Hussain, of Hussainpura locality. Babar and his sister Jameela Bibi visited house of Ashiq and shot at and injured Tahara and her mother Haleema Bibi.
In another incident, Muhammad Afzal, of Bastti Aslam Noai was injured by his enemies when he was returning from a reconciliatory meeting.
5 ROBBERS HELD: Police Wednesday arrested five robbers and recovered illegal weapons from their possession on Wednesday.
Police arrested robbers indentified as Khazar Hayyat, Zafar Iqbal, Liquat Ali, Abbas, Mukhtair and recovered four pistols, one shotgun and bullets from them. The dacoits were arrested from near Chak bridge Kahan Singh.
HOUSE MUGGED: A house was mugged on Wednesday.
Four thieves entered house of Tariq Mahmood, of the Karkhana Haji Khuraseed locality and took away gold ornaments and cash.
WOMAN KIDNAPPED: A woman was kidnapped on Wednesday.
Roshan Bibi visited house of Ramzan, of Asadullahpur locality and took his sister-in-law (Z) outside the house from where Muneer Ahmad and his accomplices kidnapped her.
LAWYER THRASHED: Eight accused thrashed a lawyer on Wednesday.
Advocate Naeem Akber, of F-block, Arifwala was thrashed by eight accused when he came out of the court of an additional Sessions judge.
The accused also took away his documents and Rs 22,300.
