SI held for taking bribe

GUJRANWALA: An Anti-Corruption Establishment circle inspector Rana Naeem and his team raided on Monday and arrested a police sub-inspector for taking Rs 45,000 bribe from a man.
The ACE team raided and arrested SI Liaqat Ali of Wahndo police red-handed when he was receiving bribe money from Saifullah of Begpur village in a case. A case has been registered against the accused cop.
COUPLE ATTEMPT SUICIDE: A couple attempted suicide due to poverty at Dogranwali village on Monday.
Nabeel and his wife Sumera attempted suicide by taking acid. They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital in critical condition. However, Nabeel in his statement to the police said that his brother Shabbir and his wife Kausar allegedly gave them acid fraudulently.
