not adopting security arrangements

PAKPATTAN: Police on Sunday arrested 12 petrol pumps owners for not taking necessary security arrangements and deputing security guards.
The police arrested Muhammad Asim of Chak 19-EB, Zafar Iqbal of Chak 78-EB, Ghulam Nabi of Qaboola Road, Muhammad Abbas of City Road, Muhammad Nawaz and Muhammad Ashfaq of Burewala Chowk and Muhammad Younis of Chak 41-EB. The police also arrested Abdul Razzaq of Chak 205-EB, Muhammad Anwar of Chak 129-EB and Muhammad Arshad of Adda Rang Shah for not appointing security guards and installing cameras at their petrol pumps. The police have registered separate cases.
2 INJURED: A man and his father were injured here on Sunday.
Muhammad Yar and his father Muhammad Younis were on their way when four accused including Bilal intercepted them and allegedly injured them with the help of clubs. Police have registered a case.
THEFT: A theft incident was reported here on Sunday.
Asia Bibi allegedly took away gold ornaments and cash from the house of Luka at Chak Heela Wattooan. Police have registered a case.
8 GAMBLERS HELD: Police on Sunday arrested eight gamblers.
On a tip-off, the police raided a den at Chak 51/EB and arrested eight gamblers including Phool Shah and recovered stake money from them. The police have registered a case.
