Security tightened at worship places in Nankana

From Our Correspondent

NANKANA SAHIB: DPO Muntazir Mehdi has said security for worship places has been enhanced across the district.

Talking to journalists here on Tuesday, the DPO said more police personnel had been deployed at seven Gurdawaras of the city. He said there were 73 churches across the district. He said there were nine churches of category-A, twenty-eight churches of category-B and thirty-six of category-C. He said DSPs of the circles would ensure visits to worship places.

17-HOUR LOADSHEDDING IN NANKANA: Unscheduled loadshedding from 15 to 17 hours continues in the City and its outskirts. It has paralysed daily routine life. The business community has complained of huge financial losses. The suspension of electricity, especially at morning timings has become a routine matter. Women are unable to prepare breakfast for schoolchildren. Hot and humid weather has worsened the situation. Citizens demanded Wapda look into the matter.
