FAISALABAD: The Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) will start four-day Punjab Youth Festival from October 8 at the campus on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

 

It will bring the colourful events including dress show, handicraft, painting, technical project, cultural project, short film and many more. VC Prof Dr Zakir Hussain has directed the officials of the varsity to make foolproof arrangements. The different committees have been constituted on the directions of the VC to monitor and run the festival.

 

DCO TRANSFERRED: District Coordination Officer Naseem Sadiq has been transferred to Multan as DCO under orders of the Chief Secretary, Punjab. He was a real architect of Faisalabad. He completed his three years tenure as DCO in Faisalabad and executed a number of far-reaching development projects in the city. He has relinquished the charge of his office to Waheed Akhtar Ansari, DG Development Authority (FDA).
