ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza Monday constituted a special committee on foreign and domestic loans in pursuance of the motion adopted by the National Assembly on 13th July, 2012.
Notification to this effect has been issued by the National Assembly Secretariat Monday and the committee has been mandated to examine and scrutinize the necessity and utilization of foreign and domestic loans obtained since 1985.
The committee will comprise of MNAs Syed Naveed Qamar, Mian Abdus Sattar, Begum Shahnaz Wazir Ali, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Hamid Yar Hiraj, Dewan Ashiq Hussian Bokhari, Abdul Rashid Godil, Ms. Jamila Gilani, Ms. Asiya Nasir and Zafar Beg Bhittani.
Meanwhile, Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza also constituted a Parliamentary Forum on Child Rights with Ms. Rubina Saadat Qaimkhani, MNA as its Chairperson.
The Parliamentary Forum has been constituted in pursuance of the resolution adopted by the National Assembly on 9th July, 2012. Notification to this effect has been issued by the National Assembly Secretariat, today. The Terms of Reference of the committee shall be “To ensure Child Rights in the Country”. The committee will comprise of MNAs Ms. Shazia Marri, Ms. Natasha Daultana, Dr. Zil-e-Huma, Raja Muhammad Asad Khan, Dr. Nelson Azeem, Dr. Doniya Aziz, Ms. Shagufta Sadiq, Pervaiz Khan Advocate, Ms. Asiya Nasir and Bilal Rehman.
