ISLAMABAD: Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Munibur Rehman Monday announced that the people should pay ‘Sadqah Fitr’ or ‘Fitrana’ and Fidya according to a set minimum benchmark of Rs80 per head in proportionate to the flour price.In a statement, Mufti Munib has said as per barley price, ‘Fitrana’ amount stands at Rs220, Rs1,120 as per date price and Rs1,600 as per raisin price.If any one had been unable to keep fast for the whole month of Ramadan, he or she should pay Fidya as compensation worth Rs2,400 in proportionate to flour price.
