JHELUM: A policeman was killed and other injured in an accident here on Wednesday.

Head Constable Muzaffar and Constable Yaqoob were going on a motorbike to Dina Police station when their bike was hit by car ALF564 near Kashmir Colony. As a result, Muzaffar died while Yaqoob got serious injuries and was shifted to Jhelum DHQ Hospitals.

MEETING ON LAW, ORDER: A meeting on law and order situation was held at DCO office. DCO Mirza Mehmood-ul-Hassan, MNA Raja Asad, City DSP Tasadaq Hussain and other police officers were present in the meeting. The DCO asked the police administration to launch a campaign to eliminate crime. He stressed police to send challans of murders and other cases to courts.

BIKE STOLEN: A motorbike was stolen. Muhammad Arif of Dhoke parked his bike outside a plaza and when he returned, he found his bike missing. Police have registered a case.
