“Pakistan and the United States have enjoyed a long and productive cooperation that spans over 60 years. This scholarship programme is yet another expression of the US government’s long-term commitment to help build a stronger and more prosperous Pakistan,” said Fazal Rabbi, a USAID Project Management Specialist.

The US Agency for International Development through its five-year, $75 million Teacher Education Project is partnering with the Government of Pakistan to develop, roll out, and implement the recently introduced BEd and AED degrees. The US is also working closely with the provincial government to create systems, policies and standards that will ensure effective implementation of the degree programmes.
