ISLAMABAD: An unsung hero has made history by exposing one of the biggest conspiracies against the judiciary and has hence also made media accountable for the first time in the history.

Whoever he is, how he leaked the footage of a mid-break conversation has done a great service to the nation by exposing conspiracy against judges.

The moment that unsung hero uploaded the footage on Youtube, the conspiracy against was exposed before the nation. The lawyers came on the streets in support of the Supreme Court, the media started discussing it, and not only this, it also became talk of the town within minutes of the release of footage.

Those involved in the conspiracy have been condemned by all sections of the society including journalists, lawyers, civil society etc. It is because of the unsung hero, that the Supreme Court took notice of the open and shut case of conspiracy.

Even the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Dr Faqir Hussain, in his note to the Full Court discussed the conspiracy which was exposed by the unsung hero. The Registrar’s note says, “From this footage it appears that the whole show was pre-planed in which planted questions were asked and the interviewer coached in giving answers.

It is clearly indicative of a pre-planed conspiracy against judiciary to scandalize the Court, prejudice the determination of pending matters in the court and bring the court/judge into hatred, ridicule or contempt.”

The same leaked-videos were also made the basis of media accountability, a thing which one could only think of before this leak, but now the Supreme Court has constituted a two-member bench to probe this. The entire journalist community should be thankful to the unsung hero.
