‘Trained teachers to be sent to Toba’

TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad Commissioner Tahir Hussain has said that a team of trained teachers of different Faisalabad Divisional Public Schools will be sent to Toba to train local school teachers while a group of teachers will also be invited to Faisalabad to get similar training.


He said this while addressing a gathering on the eve of annual prize distribution ceremony as the chief patron of the DPS here on Monday. The commissioner said that the DPS system being run under his control in Faisalabad Division would fully cooperate with the Toba Government Jinnah Public School recently inducted into the DPS system with the new name of Toba DPS and college. He promised that funds for school’s development would be generated from rich people. Earlier, DCO Syed Javed Iqbal said that during the last eight years, the school had given very good results among all schools of the Faisalabad Division. Principal Col Ishaq Ch said that the students of the institute got distinction in the CM’s talent hunt competitions. MPA Mian Muhammad Rafiq, Additional Deputy Commissioner Haroon Rashid and others were also present.


MAY DAY RALLIES: Australian Socialist Alliance leader Tony Eltis will arrive here on Tuesday (today).During his visit, he will participate in the May Day rallies here and at Kamalia. It was informed by Labour Party Pakistan leader Farooq Tariq here on Monday.

TOBA TEK SINGH: DCO Javed Iqbal on Monday organised a special function in connection with the May Day at his office.The programme was attended by trade unions leaders, officers from all three TMAs, the DO Labour and MPA Mian Muhammad Rafiq. The DCO hailed the role of labourers in the country’s development. MPA Mian Rafiq stressed to strengthen trust between employer and employee.
