Sewage inundates Malkwal railway hospital

MALAKWAL: People are facing a lot of inconvenience due to overflowing dirty water on the roads leading to Railway Hospital and the ticket house.

 

They told The News that sewage was overflowing the roads due to choked pipes. They said that life had become a hell in the affected areas, while the railway administration was not taking notice of the issue. They alleged that sanitary workers did not work properly.

 

When contacted, a spokesman for the Pakistan Railways said that the TMA was responsible for the poor sanitation as it laid substandard sewerage pipes sometime back.

 

YOUTH AXED TO DEATH: Unidentified people axed to death a youth at Pind Makko.

 

Mudassar Gondal was sleeping in the courtyard when about three people trespassed on the house and killed him with the blows of an axe. The Malakwal police have registered a case and started investigations.

 

BODY FOUND: The body of an unknown youth was found from Lower Canal Jhelum near Rasool Power House on Thursday. The locals spotted the body and informed the police. The body has been sent to DHQ Hospital for autopsy.

MALAKWAL: A man died in a road accident on Rasool Road. Muhammad Anaar of Mauza Mong was going to bazaar when a bus hit him. He died on the spot. The Sadr police took the body in their custody and started investigations.
