MULTAN: All Pakistan Clerks Association (Apca) activists on Monday staged a demonstration against the government for its failure to fulfill the commitments made with the association leaders.
The Apca activists staged a demonstration at Chowk Kutchery and warned of besieging the Lahore Secretariat on September 9. They were chanting slogans against the government. They were also carrying placards and banners.
Speaking on the occasion, Apca secretary general Khalid Javed Sanghera said that they had encircled 7-Club Road on March 26 to press their demands. He said that Punjab Minister Rana Sanaullah had held a meeting with the Apca office-bearers and accepted their demands and promised to issue a notification.
