ABU DHABI: Noted Pakistani TV anchor, Moeed Pirzada, who was arrested in United Arab Emirate on August 4, has been released, according to Pakistan embassy.
Pirzada was arrested by Abu Dhabi police allegedly for getting thumbprints of his ailing father on documents at a hospital.
Sources in Pakistan embassy said Pirzada has been released by UAE authorities on bail, adding that he might be allowed to leave UAE in couple of days.
