ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) for Political Affairs Dr Asif Saeed Kirmani has advised the PTI chief Imran Khan to show similar patience till 2018 polls as the government had demonstrated during the sit-in.
In a statement issued here, he said that the ‘investor group’ in and outside of the PTI has shown this day to Imran Khan and turned the old sportsman’s politics into a tragedy. The SAPM asked Imran to show sportsman spirit and concede his follies. Kirmani said the best course for the PTI chief would be to concentrate on the development and prosperity of the helpless people of KP.
He raised the question about Imran Khan’s hue and cry pertaining to the contents of the findings of the inquiry commission after accepting its verdict and said the PTI chief lacks even common sense. Kirmani said that Imran Khan’s refusal to withdraw his allegations after the report of the commission establishes that he has no courage to stick to what he had committed in black and white. “The attitude has exposed him before the people of Pakistan very badly,” Kirmani added.
