Axact CEO Shoaib shifted to hospital

Accused found healthy, transferred back to FIA Cell after medical check-up

KARACHI: Axact CEO Shoaib Shaikh was shifted from the FIA Human Trafficking Cell to the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for his medical checkup after he complained of worsening health on Sunday night.
Shoaib Shaikh, who is under the custody of FIA, had complained of worsening health on Sunday night. The authorities informed the judicial magistrate who directed them to shift the accused to JPMC. He was brought at the emergency department of the JPMC at 11pm. According to the MLO, Shaikh was healthy upon his arrival at the hospital. However, the accused complained of pain in chest and jaws.
Dr Seemi Jamali, the in charge of emergency department said Shoaib Shaikh was referred to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases for ECG and other tests following initial check-up. After completing the medical check-up he was again brought to the FIA Human Trafficking Cell.
