Soldier killed in cross-border attack in Bajaur

KHAR: An FC soldier was killed when militants attacked a security forces checkpost in Mamond Tehsil of Bajaur Agency, official sources said on Sunday. The sources said militants launched the attack from the Kunar province in Afghanistan near the border early in the day.One soldier, whose identity could not be ascertained, was killed. The militants escaped after security forces returned the fire.
