Imam-e-Kaaba leads Fajr, Maghrib prayers in Lahore

LAHORE: Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Shaikh Khalid al-Ghamidi led Fajr prayer at the Jamia mosque Mansoora and Maghrib prayer in Lahore on Saturday.
Hundreds of people, including women, offered the prayers amid tight security arrangements.
The Imam-e-Kaaba while addressing the faithful after the prayers in Mansoora said Islam is a religion of peace, love and compassion. He said that Saudi Arabian government and its people were proud of their Pakistani brethren. He also prayed for the solidarity of the Muslim Ummah.
Earlier, Jamaat-e-Islami chief Senator Sirajul Haq, Naib Amir Muhammad Aslam, Liaquat Baloch, Dr Fareed Ahmad Piracha and others welcomed the Imam-e-Kaaba on his arrival at Mansoora.
