ISLAMABAD: The federal government has asked the Sindh government to form a joint committee to probe the death row prisoner Saulat Mirza’s allegations against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement leadership.According to sources, the summary approved by Interior Secretary Shahid Khan asks for involving officials of law enforcement agencies and secret agencies in the committee to probe whether the allegations levelled by Saulat had any solid ground or not.The federal government has already extended Mirza’s execution for another 30 days. President Mamnoon Hussain, on the advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, extended his date of execution from April 1 to April 30.
