WASHINGTON: A man claiming to be a Pakistani and seeking a passport without presenting any documents caused a stir at the Pakistani Embassy, which had to call in the diplomatic security to deal with him. The unnamed person was taken into police custody for investigation. To a media query, an embassy spokesman said: “A young man appearing to be in his mid 20s and claiming to be a Pakistani citizen came to the Embassy and asked for the issuance of a passport without presenting any documents in support of his request”.
