Two members of anti-militant group killed in Tirah blast

LANDIKOTAL: At least two volunteers of the anti-militant group, Tauheedul Islam
(TI), were killed and two others injured when an explosion hit their bunker in the Naray Baba area of Tirah valley, sources said on Saturday.
The sources said that a huge explosion occurred in the pro-government Tauheedul Islam’s trench known as Mazreen Morcha and located
in Tirah valley’s Naray Baba area.
The sources said that an improvised explosive device (IED) went off when four Tauheedul Islam gunmen stepped on it in their bunker.
However, other local sources said that the explosion took place in the bunker when the Tauheedul Islam volunteers were making a bomb.
Two of them died on the spot while the two injured volunteers were taken to a nearby clinic for treatment.
Those killed in the blast were identified as Yaqoot and Muhammadullah while Malangai was among the injured.
Meanwhile, Lashkar-e-Islam gunmen shot dead a volunteer Khaperai Tauheedul Islam in Naray Baba area and fled the scene.
