ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) and Darul Afta Pakistan has announced to observe Shab-e-Barat as 'Shab-e-Toba' to seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty.
The PUC also appealed public to stay inside homes and say individual prayers at homes to seek forgiveness from Allah on the eve of Shab-e-Barat. The PUC and Darul Afta Pakistan also appealed to public not to make gatherings on eve of Shab-e-Barat inside mosques and say individual prayers to seek forgiveness on this auspicious night.
In a joint statement leadership of PUC and Darul Afta Pakistan including Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Maulana Abdul Karim Nadeem, Allama Abdul Haq Mujahid, Maulana Muhammad Rafiq Jaami, Maulana Asad Zikriya Qasmi, Maulana Asadullah Farooq, Maulana Ayub Safdar, Pir Asadullah Shah Jammali, Allama Tahirul Hasssan, Qari Asmatullah Muhavia, Maulana Shakeel Qasmi and Maulana Abubakar Sabri stated that Shab-e-Barat is the exalted night of blessings to seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty.
Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council stated that everyone should turn to Allah to seek safety for the entire humanity against coronavirus pandemic.
