ISLAMABAD: City District Administration of Islamabad has decided to postpone desealing Bara Kahu and Shahzad Town.
Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat stated that Bara Kahu and Shahzad Town will be desealed with the approval from Health Department.
He stated that reports of some suspects of Covid-19 from Bara Kahu and Shahzad Town are pending and after confirmation of these reports, final decision will be made later.
Islamabad DC underlined that on receiving negative reports about suspects of Covid-19 from Bara Kahu and Shahzad Town, decision will be made to deseal both the sealed localities.
He added that flights are also landing at Islamabad airport and testing and screening are also going on of the arriving passengers at Islamabad airport.
Amidst prevailing lockdown scenario, Islamabad administration can't take any risk to open these sealed localities, said Islamabad DC Hamza Shafqaat adding that after clearance from Health Department Shahzad Town and Bara Kahu will be desealed.
