LAHORE : A family court Saturday summoned the counsel of Shahbaz Taseer, son of former Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, on an application moved by former wife of Shahbaz seeking maintenance allowance for her daughter. The family court judge, Samra Riaz, has directed the counsel of Shahbaz to argue on the matter on the next hearing to be held on April 17. Maheen Ghani, former wife of Shahbaz Taseer, had filed an application before the family court seeking maintenance allowance for her daughter. She had alleged that Shahbaz was not paying money for upbringing of their daughter and it was not possible for her to raise the child alone.
