ISLAMABAD: The Rabatul Alam-e-Islami has gifted a consignment of health gadgets to Pakistan to help fight against spread of COVID-19 in the country.
The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad Nawaf Said Al-Maliki on Wednesday handed over the consignment of containing thermo scanners, face masks, sanitisers, testing kits and other equipment to the Minister for Religious Noorul Haq Qadri on behalf of the organisation.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the gift from Saudi Arabia was not less than a blessing for Pakistan in the difficult time. The Saudi ambassador said as the two brotherly Muslim countries enjoy strong relations, his country would continue to extend cooperation to the Pakistan government and its people.
