‘Patients should be allowed self-isolation at home’

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) MNA Moonis Elahi has emphasised on the Punjab government the coronavirus positive people should also be allowed self-isolation in their homes. In a tweet, he said the government should not shift virus positive people to hospitals forcibly, rather those who want should be allowed treatment in their homes in complete isolation. However, people with serious symptoms should immediately be shifted to hospitals, he added. He said because of fear of hospitals people were fearful of getting themselves tested whereas there were also not enough beds in our hospitals.
