LAHORE: Pakistan cricketers are spending time in isolation at home due to coronavirus pandemic advisory these days and have started a new trend of stay home fitness challenge.
Recently Azhar Ali, Pakistan Test captain was seen in a video, doing work out at home. Following the trend, Pakistan pacer Wahab Riaz asked Azhar for a 50 squat challenge after performing the same by himself. Sports activities around the globe are being postponed due to coronavirus pandemic and in Pakistan too the sportspersons have been training at home.
With not sports being played around the globe due to coronavirus pandemic, players, who are also in isolation, are busy in doing stay at home challenges. We have seen many football stars were doing toilet roll juggling, and now Pakistani cricketers have started their own challenge.
To maintain their shape and fitness during isolation, fast bowler Wahab Riaz came up with an idea to do 50 squats in a row. He tweeted a video of himself doing the squats and challenged the Pakistan Test captain Azhar Ali to do the same. The Pakistan Test captain, accepting the challenge of 50 squats given by Wahab Riaz welcomed it and went into the task doing 50 squats. Azhar tweeted to Wahab: Thanks for challenge @WahabViki. In return after completing squats, Azhar tossed the challenge towards Imad Waism for the 50 squat in latest video he posted on his tweeter account.
