Prisoners being freed over coronavirus, says Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that prisoners are being released in view of apprehension that they might be hit by coronavirus.
Pervaiz Elahi also held telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and asked him to accelerate efforts for release of daughter of the nation Aafiya Siddiqui. Shah Mahmood Qureshi assured the PA Speaker that he would talk to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the US officials in this regard.
