No gas
March 21, 2020
In Balochistan only two percent of people have access to natural gas from Sui. Before the Covid-19 outbreak, natural gas was imported in Makran from Iran and the price of gas was affordable. Since the coronavirus cases have been reported in Pakistan, we have closed our borders with all neighbouring countries including Iran.
The people of Balochistan cannot afford to buy natural gas so they are forced to use animal feces and wood, but due to Covid-19 people are demanding triple money for these burning material. It seems like hunger will kill the people of Balochistan instead of the coronavirus. It is my humble request to the chief minister and government authorities to pay attention to this serious issue.
