ISLAMABAD: Senator Faisal Raza Abidi Friday said the Supreme Court’s decision on Contempt of Court Act 2012 was actually a judicial martial law.Talking to APP, he said every student of politics knew that parliament was supreme, but a few people did not want to accept this political and democratic reality. He said the PPP always respected courts and implemented court decisions. He said the PPP was victimised in the past and it was being victimised now also.The senator said parliament was a supreme institution in a democratic setup. He challenged he could prove the supremacy of parliament with reference to the judiciary.
