ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Railways (PR) on Monday restored 10 of the 22 suspended passenger trains.After acquiring additional engines, the cash-strapped Railways department is likely to restore 12 more passenger trains it suspended owing to lack of resources, a private news channel reported on Monday.The Lahore-Jaranwala, the Lahore-Shorkot and the four nonstop Lahore-Faisalabad trains had been restored, officials said.The news channel also reported that the PR had also been planning to operate trains to transport furnace oil for the IPPs.
