CHAGAI: Assistant Food Controller Washuk has been gunned down in an attack in Basima area on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner Washuk Saeed Jamali said that unidentified armed men riding a bike opened fire at Assistant Food Controller Abdul Qadir in Basima area when he was on way to home. As a result, the official of food department who received multiple bullet wounds died on the spot, the DC added. The assailants managed to escape from the scene. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
