DERA GHAZI KHAN: Eight people, including two women, were killed and 37 others injured, six of them critically, in a bus-truck collision on the Indus Highway on Saturday.

 

Rescue 1122 sources said that a Rajanpur-bound bus carrying pilgrims was coming from Sehwan when it collided head-on with a truck after its tie-rod was broken near Jampur. Resultantly, eight people died on the spot while 37 others received injuries. Rescue 1122 reached the site of the accident and shifted the injured to the DHQ hospital DG Khan while six critical injured were referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan.
