FAISALABAD: Police defused six explosive devices near Borstal Jail and CIA Centre here on Friday. Police said that a passers-by informed the Rescue 1122 that some suspicious devices were laying near Borstal Jail and CIA Centre Faisalabad. The Rescue 112 rushed to the spot and informed police and civil defence department. A police party headed by SSP Operation Sadiq Dogar along with a team of Civil Defence reached the spot and defused sixdevices like footballs having explosive material. SSP Operation Sadiq Dogar told the media that it was an attempt by miscreants or terrorists to damage Borstal Jail and CIA Centre. He said police had taken explosives into custody and it was sent to a laboratory. Khurarianwala police registered a case and started investigation.
