ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected on an average Rs1 billion more tax on daily basis during the financial year 2011-12 as compared to 2010-11.During the year 2010-11 the tax collected was Rs1,558 while according to latest figures the collection up to 30th of June 2012 was about Rs1,920 billion. The record collection isRs372 billion more than the amount collected during 2010-11.However, the final figures shall be released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) after the reconciliation of AGPR and book adjustments.

 

Member Land Revenue, FBR, Shahid Hussain Asad has told that there had been an increase of 17.4% in the tax collection in 2010-11 as compared to 2009-10. Similarly there was an increase of 23% during 2011-12 as compared to 2010-11.
