ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Admiral (R) Fasih Bukhari Tuesday constituted a five-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) headed by the NAB Financial Crimes Investigation Wing (FCIW) DG to probe the Dr Arsalan Iftikhar-Riaz Malik case as per directives of the Supreme Court.

The team includes one member each from FIA and police, and three from the NAB. The team held its first meeting at the NAB headquarters and decided to procure all relevant material from the quarters concerned within a week. According to sources, the JIT will report to the NAB chairman on weekly basis about the progress.
