SUKKUR: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has said the PPP did not want any confrontation with the judiciary.

 

Talking to media men at Tando Allahyar on Saturday after condoling with the heirs of Syed Umeed Ali Shah on his demise, he said Raja Pervaiz Ashraf is a gentleman and like Yusuf Raza Gilani will deliver and work for strengthening of democracy.

 

The CM said that Raja Pervaiz Ashraf is loyal to mission of Shaheed ZA Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir and would never disappoint the nation.

 

Qaim said Gilani faced the courts and Pervaiz Ashraf will also do the same. He said the judiciary was giving an impression of being anti-PPP, however, he said, PPP could never think of confrontation with the judiciary.

 

He said everybody knows PPP will never surrender before the conspirators and President Zardari with his wisdom and experience had foiled the all conspiracies and strengthened democracy.

 

The CM said that Sindh government has devised a contingency plan to face expected floods and added that the party had not left the people alone during the floods and severe rains in last two years.
