ISLAMABAD: Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan on Tuesday agreed to explore various new cooperation mechanisms under the Triangular Initiative against drug trafficking and law enforcement challenges faced by the three states and reiterated their commitments to strengthen regional cooperation.It was decided in a Triangular Initiative meeting hosted by Pakistan and supported by UNODC Pakistan.Secretary Narcotics Control Javed Iqbal, Director General Anti-Narcotics Force Major General Malik Zafar Iqbal and Jeremy Douglas, Representative UNODC Country Office Pakistan co-chaired the meeting. The meeting was attended by officials and heads of anti-narcotics, border control and criminal justice agencies in the three countries.
