LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said force will not be used against those protesting against worst loadshedding in Punjab.

Talking to mediamen outside Punjab Assembly, Sanaullah opined the use of force will further instigate the agitators and their number will surge to lakhs. He said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has set up his tent office at Minar-e-Pakistan to express solidarity with the people and to pacify them.

He said nobody can bear loadshedding of 22 hours daily, however, he appealed to the protesters not to damage their own properties. He said people will soon march towards Islamabad for resolution of their problems. Sana said if the rulers become serious, the loadshedding can be overcome within three days while demonstrators are marching towards houses of members of National and provincial assemblies.
